Spacebank Co., Ltd., an intelligent digital transformation (AIDX) specialist led by CEO Woney Lee, announced that Unitree Robotics, a global robotics company, visited on the 18th to review its Software Defined Robot (SDR) platform, RoboViewX. The visit was part of Unitree’s efforts to explore the Korean market ahead of its planned initial public offering (IPO).
Unitree is a leading Chinese robotics company specializing in humanoid and quadruped robots. The company gained global attention last year after unveiling robotic capabilities such as walking, navigating slopes, and carrying loads. Unitree is planning to file for an IPO in the fourth quarter of this year and is expected to become the first Chinese humanoid robotics company to be listed on a domestic stock exchange. Backed by major global investors including Alibaba, Tencent, and Geely, Unitree has demonstrated both strong technological capabilities and significant market potential.
During the visit, Spacebank demonstrated its SDR-based robot control platform, RoboViewX, to Unitree representatives. RoboViewX is an integrated control platform for heterogeneous robots, offering ▲a client agent that ensures stable data communication between robots and external systems ▲real-time video streaming with timeline-based monitoring and recording ▲an action viewer that visualizes robot operations in 3D and enables historical data analysis ▲and chart and dashboard functionalities for simultaneous visualization and management of multiple workspaces.
Commenting on the visit, Woney Lee, CEO of Spacebank, said, “This visit by Unitree was a meaningful opportunity for a global robotics company to experience Korea’s technological capabilities firsthand. We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness through collaboration with a wide range of partners.”
A Unitree representative added, “We were highly impressed by Spacebank’s SDR-based platform and will explore potential collaboration opportunities to test and validate our robots across various environments.”
Meanwhile, Spacebank holds a strong portfolio of intellectual property, including 12 patents, 15 trademarks, 1 design right, and 7 copyrights. The company has also demonstrated its technological excellence and reliability through multiple certifications, including designation as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service, Grade 1 GS Certification, and CSAP and NIPA quality and security certifications.
