Digital transformation in agriculture is gaining momentum as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics increasingly converge. Spacebank participated in an AI technology collaboration meeting hosted by the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (NAS), where the company shared its vision for smart agriculture powered by AIoT-based integrated monitoring and Physical AI technologies and explored opportunities for collaboration in Agricultural AX (AI Transformation).
Spacebank participated in an AI technology collaboration meeting for Agricultural AX innovation held on July 10 at the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (NAS) under Korea's Rural Development Administration.
The meeting was organized to share the latest technologies for accelerating digital transformation and AI adoption in agriculture and to explore practical collaboration models that can be applied to real-world agricultural environments.
Participants included Je-Hoon Seong, President of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences; Hyung-Tae Kim, Professor at Sungkyunkwan University; and representatives from industry, academia, and research organizations.
The meeting brought together CrowdWorks, an AI data specialist, and Spacebank, an AI and Digital Transformation (DX) solutions company.
CrowdWorks introduced its technologies and expertise in AI training data, data quality management, generative AI, and Physical AI data.
Spacebank shared its implementation experience and use cases centered on its AIoT-based integrated monitoring platform and RoboViewX, its Software Defined Robot (SDR)-based platform for integrated management of heterogeneous robots.
With the recent launch of Korea's first agriculture and forestry satellite establishing a foundation for collecting satellite data across farmland and forest areas nationwide, participants discussed new opportunities to combine public-sector satellite data with private-sector technologies.
The integration of agriculture and forestry satellite data held by national research institutions with generative AI, data quality management, and AIoT technologies is expected to further advance smart agriculture in areas such as crop forecasting, pest and disease management, and disaster response.
Spacebank proposed a next-generation Agricultural AX model that combines AIoT-based real-time data collection, Digital Twin technology, and SDR-based integrated robot management.
The company also presented the potential of Physical AI, where artificial intelligence and robotics converge to interact with and operate within real-world environments.
By connecting real-time field data with intelligent analysis and robotics, these technologies have the potential to enable more automated, data-driven, and responsive agricultural operations.
Spacebank has accumulated extensive implementation experience across public safety, smart care, and industrial digital transformation through solutions including its AIoT Wright platform, RoboViewX integrated robot management platform, and data-driven AI·DX platforms.
Building on this experience, the company plans to expand its technologies into the smart agriculture sector and develop new AI convergence services tailored to agricultural environments.
“It was a meaningful opportunity to discuss ways to collaborate on AI technologies for the agricultural sector,” said Woney Lee, CEO of Spacebank. “Building on our AI·DX technologies and real-world implementation experience, we will continue contributing to digital transformation and the broader adoption of AI across agriculture.”
Spacebank was recently selected for the Innovation Premier 1000 program by Korea's Public Procurement Service, recognizing the company's capabilities and growth potential in AI and Digital Transformation technologies.
In addition, Woney Lee, CEO of Spacebank, received a 2026 Presidential Commendation for Contributions to the Information and Communications Industry, recognizing his contributions to the advancement of Korea's ICT sector.
Building on its expertise in AIoT, robotics, and data-driven platforms, Spacebank plans to continue expanding its AI·DX and Physical AI technologies into agriculture and other industries while pursuing new opportunities for collaboration with public institutions, research organizations, and industry partners.
