Spacebank, a digital transformation (DX) specialist led by CEO Woney Lee, announced that its “Daily Safety Monitoring Solution” for safety-vulnerable groups has been designated as a recommended innovative prototype by Korea’s Public Procurement Service (PPS).
On the 17th and 18th, the Public Procurement Service held a demo day in which both citizens and experts directly participated in the evaluation of candidate products for its innovative prototype program. Through this process, 21 innovative companies were selected.
Spacebank’s “Daily Safety Monitoring Solution for Safety-Vulnerable Groups” is an intelligent safety monitoring solution that combines AI and IoT to enable the monitoring of heart rate, respiration, sleep apnea, and falls using non-contact radar sensors. By integrating heterogeneous sensors, the solution can be applied not only to seniors, children, and patients, but also to a broader range of individuals who may be vulnerable to safety risks. It is also suitable for deployment in environments where safety monitoring is especially important. Beyond healthcare services for active seniors, the solution also has the potential to support smart medical applications, making it highly adaptable across various sectors.
Commenting on the designation, Woney Lee, CEO of Spacebank, said, “We are pleased that this solution has been recognized as an innovative technology capable of monitoring safety in private spaces where conventional CCTV systems cannot be used, such as restrooms, guest rooms, shower rooms, saunas, hospital rooms, and patient bedsides.
